Seller note:

2002 Tautog. One-of-a-kind hand-made wooden boat. This boat was built over the course of 3 years by a close family friend who was a master boat builder and restorer. It was based on plans that he found from the 1930s and is believed to be the only one ever built. The hull is made from a foam core wrapped in mahogany plywood with a fiberglass coating on the exterior for strength and durability. The deck and interior is all wood. The cabin features a v-berth large enough for two adults, a small galley with sink and a head. The main deck has a large bench, helm and fold-out table and can be enclosed with custom sewn canvas panels creating two separate living quarters. The stern of the boat features an enclosed engine compartment in the style of an older wooden boat but houses a 25hp Honda outboard motor.
Despite its size, the boat is extremely easy to tow and put-in. It comes with a load-rite tandem axle trailer. Also included is a complete solar electrical array (panels go on upper roof) spec'd to provide plenty of electricity to allow for lights, radio, laptop etc. The original builder intended to use it to travel to different in-land lakes and use for extended get-aways. He developed health issues shortly after finishing the boat and sold it to my family. We have never found the time to truly enjoy it as it was intended and so have decided to sell. The boat and motor have no more than 20 hours on them since new. It is always the most unique boat anywhere it goes and draws tons of attention.
Beam: 6 ft. 0 in.
